Downflow & Powder-Control Booth Testing
Premier LEV arranges testing of downflow and powder-control booths through specialist engineers. We agree a programme around your booth, the material handled and the working process at your site.

Assess performance where the work happens
Booth performance depends on airflow, filtration, equipment position and how material is handled. Tell us about weighing, dispensing, sampling or transfer activities, together with the intended working zone and any changes since the previous test.
The agreed scope may include airflow measurements, airflow visualisation, condition checks and checks of indicators or alarms. Where HEPA filtration forms part of the system, installed filter integrity testing can be included. The test method and acceptance criteria are agreed against the equipment specification and intended use.
Containment and filtration are different checks
A filter integrity result alone does not demonstrate control of exposure during every task. Share any existing exposure assessments, process requirements and previous reports so that the relevant performance checks can be selected. Any exposure monitoring or additional containment study must be specified separately.
For related services, see HEPA filter testing and management and LEV testing and examination.
Plan the visit
Provide the site postcode, booth make and model, filter details, materials handled and preferred date. We agree access, operating conditions, isolation and any decontamination requirements before attendance. Explosive or combustible powder hazards must be identified when the work is scoped. We also arrange ATEX equipment inspections and DSEAR risk assessments through specialist engineers.
Results and follow-up
Your agreed report records the equipment, test conditions, findings, limitations and recommended actions. Premier LEV coordinates the work and remains your point of contact, with specialist testing delivered by specialist engineers.
