HTM 03-01 ventilation verification

We arrange testing and performance verification with the applicable HTM 03-01 requirements identified in the agreed scope. Tell us whether you need work for a new or refurbished installation, verification after changes, or an ongoing performance assessment.

The programme may include airflow volumes, air-change calculations, room pressure differences, airflow direction and relevant filtration checks. The specialist confirms the measurements, operating conditions and acceptance criteria required for each room and system.

NHS England publishes HTM 03-01 guidance covering design and validation, and operational management and performance verification. Its application is assessed against the type and use of the healthcare facility.

Critical healthcare areas

Discuss requirements for operating theatres, isolation rooms, critical care areas, sterile services departments, pharmacy and aseptic areas, endoscopy departments, laboratories and mortuary facilities. Provide the room use, ventilation drawings, design information and previous reports so the appropriate programme can be agreed.

UCV theatre testing, servicing and entrainment testing

We arrange specialist testing and servicing of ultra-clean operating theatre ventilation systems, including entrainment testing where required. The scope is matched to the canopy and installation, manufacturer information, relevant guidance and your site programme.

Tell us about previous findings, maintenance history and planned work. Any replacement parts, repairs or retesting are identified separately in the quotation or agreed from the findings.

Coordinate access and clinical arrangements

Testing conditions, room availability, permits, isolation, cleaning and access arrangements are agreed with your site team before attendance. Premier LEV coordinates specialist delivery and remains your point of contact.

Reports for your estates team

The agreed report records systems tested, methods, conditions, results, limitations and recommended actions. Your responsible site team reviews findings and authorises return to clinical use under its own procedures.
