Product protection and clean-air performance

Laminar-flow equipment is generally intended to protect the product or work area from airborne contamination. A clean bench must not be assumed to provide the operator protection of a microbiological safety cabinet. Tell us whether your unit has horizontal or vertical airflow and what work takes place within it.

Agree the checks your process needs

The testing scope can include airflow velocity and distribution, visual assessment of airflow patterns and HEPA filter integrity where applicable. If your process requires airborne particle measurements or a particular classification protocol, provide that requirement with your enquiry so the specialist can confirm the method and deliverables.

Testing following installation, relocation, a filter change or servicing can be planned alongside your periodic checks. Acceptance criteria should relate to the equipment specification and intended application. We record the configuration assessed rather than assuming that all cabinet sizes and designs have identical requirements.

Prepare your cabinet and records

Send the manufacturer, model, equipment reference, previous test report and any relevant process specification. Tell us about contamination risks, access restrictions and the downtime available. Cleaning, decontamination, repairs and replacement parts are agreed separately where needed.

Findings you can act on

The agreed report sets out the tests performed, conditions, results, limitations and recommended next steps. Premier LEV coordinates the booking with specialist engineers and can help scope any follow-up testing after remedial work.

Send cabinet details and request a quote. Related services include HEPA filter testing and management and microbiological safety cabinet testing.
